ALYSSA

Alyssa Blumenthal is a junior at Macaulay Honors College at Queens College where she is studying Arts Management and English Education. She is actively involved in Jewish life on campus and has served as an intern and e-zine editor for KOACH, Conservative Judaism’s college program, for the past two years.

She has led Junior Congregation and High Holiday services at the Oceanside Jewish Center on Long Island for many years and is very excited to be joining the ICCJ community this year as a Junior Congregation leader!

EMILY

Joining us again for her second year, Emily Weintrob is an experienced and creative Jewish educator.   She graduated with a Masters of Arts in Jewish Education from Baltimore Hebrew University and has worked in many different fields of Jewish Education ranging from Junior Congregation to youth director. In addition to her work at the Israel Center of Conservative Judaism, she is the youth director at Temple Am Echad in Lynbrook, NY.
