Come Pray With Us
Come Pray with Us
ICCJ offers traditional, egalitarian Conservative services for Jews of all ages. We invite you to join us every day: Shabbat, Yom Tov, High Holy Days and Weekdays.
Shabbat Morning: 9 AM
We use the Siddur Sim Shalom prayer book which has both Hebrew and English translation. Our service includes traditional prayers, full Torah reading, Rabbi Robyn Fryer Bodzin’s D’var Torah, and spirited congregational singing. Our long-time members are available to help you navigate the prayer book. Members often lead parts of the service and chant Torah and Haftorah. Our children lead the concluding songs at the end of the service. The Kiddush following services provides everyone with an opportunity to shmooze with friends and neighbors.
Daily Minyan: 6:30 AM (Monday, Thursday and other Torah reading days, 7:45 PM (Sunday schedule varies by season)
We are proud to hold evening minyanim during the week and on Sunday. Our minyan is held in the intimate Wasserman Chapel. The Torah is read on Monday and Thursday mornings. We welcome everyone- from first timers to regular Shul goers. Through daily Minyan, congregants fulfill the mitzvot of daily prayer, learning and supporting those saying Kaddish.
If you have a yahrzeit and would like to say kaddish, (on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Friday morning) please contact Rabbi Fryer Bodzin at 718 591 5610.
